Vanessa Olivarez (Twelfth Place)

Successful? NO

Vanessa joined a musical group called Butterfly Stitch, co-wrote a song for Sugarland called "Sugarland" and is the lead singer of a country act South 70. She released her one and only double single in Canada, where it debuted and peaked at #10.

Season 3

FantasiaFantasia Barrino (Winner)

Successful? YES

Her first album, Free Yourself, was certified platinum and received four Grammy nominations. Her second album, Fantasia, was certified gold, received three Grammy nominations and featured the 8-week #1 Billboard Hot R&B hit "When I See U." Following a critically acclaimed run on Broadway as Celie in the musical, The Color Purple, Fantasia was cast to star in the movie version of the musical, which is slated to begin production in 2009.

Diana DeGarmo (Runner-Up)

Successful? NO

Late 2007 Diana returned to her country roots and relocated to Nashville. She is now signed to John Rich's production company and currently recording a country-pop album in Nashville. In late 2007/early 2008, Diana did television ads for the Zaxby's restaurant chain.

Jasmine Trias (Third Place)

Successful? NO

She has released two albums to date, one in the United States and one in the Philippines. Jasmine is especially adored by the Filipino audience. Jasmine will be the host of a new television program called Pacific Groove in Hawaii, which will air soon.

LaToya London (Fourth Place)

Successful? NO

She is currently starring as Nettie in the touring company of the Broadway musical, The Color Purple. LaToya was featured as a guest vocalist on Paul Taylor's new album, Ladies' Choice, released in May 2007.

George Huff (Fifth Place)

Successful? NO

George Huff released one album in 2005, which only sold 18,000 copies. In 2007 George's song "Brighter Day" was briefly featured in Tyler Perry's movie "Why Did I Get Married?" starring Janet Jackson.
